SIM Technology Group Limited (“SIM Technology” or “the Group”; SEHK stock code: 2000), a leading mobile handset and wireless communication module solutions developer in China, today announced cooperation with Broadlink Research FZ, LLC (“Broadlink”), in the development and manufacture of mobile handsets for niche market opportunities.
Pursuant to the agreement, SIM Technology will provide Broadlink over 600,000 units of mobile handsets in the first year. These easy to use mobile handsets with color screen designed by SIM Technology can help Broadlink bring enormous choices to the global mobile phone market. The first jointly developed customized handset of the two companies is scheduled for launch next month.
Broadlink has extensive experience in putting out definitive mobile products and a remarkable history in providing qualified products to manufacturers of top handset brands. In 2006, they helped Disney launch its first mobile phone－D100, which was specially designed and produced to meet needs of parents looking for a suitable mobile handset for their children.
